Over 250 witnesses, 27 co-defendants.. it will be very hard to find people who arenโt somehow linked to it via friends, family, co-workers or knows YSL music, seen them on the news etc they have to be completely impartial and unknown to the jury.

Jailing or killing someone for something that wasn't their fault or choice. E.g. being raped or being gay - I'd say them laws are pretty immoral. Laws are in place to protects the public, being jailed for being raped protects only the rapist.

I said from the start the evidence against Curtis was weak and no way they could charge him after the victim couldnโt identify him and no CCTV of him driving. I just knew the evidence wasnโt there and his reaction to the video seemed genuine.

I think itโs a tactic to seem friendly - it keeps everyone calm. No good going in all aggressive as it just gets everyoneโs backs up and the suspect will become less cooperative. Itโs in everyoneโs best interests for them to be calm.
