Players When you commit to a college. It's time to do more, not less. More time in the weight room, more time long tossing, more time in the cages, more time hitting velocity and breaking balls off the machine, more time playing competitive games. Yes, play in as many competitive

Failure isn’t the problem β€” staying stuck is. You can’t change the last play. It’s over. Gone. Unchangeable. The best don’t avoid failure β€” they practice it until recovery becomes automatic. A speed bump only becomes a roadblock if you stop driving. Next play. Always:

Big play in last night’s Cub-Padre game. Luis Arraez who is a really good & really hard player shuts it down early & would probably been safe had he run his β€œbest speed” through the base. A later AB in the inning produced a double which probably would have scored Arraez.

This is not meant to β€œdog” Arraez because it was very out of character & he was obviously distraught on the bench after the play. But it is a great lesson for ALL players regarding how important it is to run your β€œbest speed” through the base or until you are 100% sure that you

Baseball is not an equal opportunity sport. The best players play. Want more playing time? Get better. Consistently barrel balls up in practice/scrimmages, improve your defense/arm strength, increase your strike throwing percentage with two quality pitches. Become the best

H.S. Players the D1 or Bust mentality needs to stop! Find a place where you’re going to play, able to afford, feel good about the Coaching Staff and the School! The IG and X posts only last so long before it gets real!

A kid sent me this pic the other day and asked about these types of letters he's receiving. Told him those are "database" letters and aren't worth the postage, paper and ink it took to produce them. If you're not having real convos with coaches, just disregard this toilet paper!

🚨 β€œYeah, But…” Is Killing Your Development 😀 If a coach gives you feedback and your response is: ❌ β€œI know.” ❌ β€œBut I wasn’t.” ❌ β€œYeah, but then this happened…” You’re not being competitive β€” You’re being uncoachable. 🧠 This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being

🚨 Pitching Focus + Execution Tip β€’ Treat your bullpen like inning 1 β€’ Simulate batters + visualize results ⭐️ Too often we wait for the game to start before we flip the switch. Use the bullpen to get locked in & ready to compete. Set the tone in inning 1.
