A disappointment. He could have used the 5 years under Russian PKs to gradually integrate Armenians, but chose not to.
🇦🇿 trolls and propagandists are claiming students from NK were abducted from the Lachin corridor because they had ''disrespected 🇦🇿's flag.'' If true, this basically means the entire population of NK can be arrested on trumped-up charges. This is Aliyev's model of integration.

The EU 🇪🇺 turned its back to 🇦🇿 civil society. I hope Michalko enjoys the COP29 he celebrated so much.
I was appalled by the reports of denigrating treatment of some of the journalists recently arrested in Azerbaijan, particularly young women, handcuffed in courtroom, put in glass cages or not allowed basic human needs. Everybody has the right to be treated with dignity & respect.

2) The reasonable fear of Ossetians being ethnically cleansed from SO, like Armenians were from NK. With almost no repercussions
It's not every day that you see a head of state openly boast about successful ethnic cleansing to an international audience, but the wonders you see when you look at the EU's strategic partners are truly limitless.
