Georgia’s European future is not a choice of the ruling party, but national, constitutional end goal of the Georgian people. We will defend our future as a matter of principle and dignity. Georgia’s future will be European, not Russian.

Now: People stand strong and together. The Constitution of Georgia is embodied in the Georgian people. Our national objective is Euro-Atlantic integration and we stand ready to defend it. Our message is clear: Georgia is Europe. Georgia will never be Russia.

This is for Kremlin to remember there will never be a place for them in Georgia. Every time when Russia tried to cease our freedom, independence and sovereignty, we resisted and we will continue to do so. Georgia was there before Russia even existed.

If Russians think they are not going to face Ukraine and our support for Ukrainians in every inch of Georgia, they are wrong and were proven wrong by people of Batumi today. Cruise ship has left earlier than scheduled with the anthems of Georgia and Ukraine as a gift from 🇬🇪.
I want to thank all of our international friends and new followers for the attention to Georgia today. This means a lot to us. Please continue listening to us and following our updates.
Dear Ukrainians, your support warms our heart! 🇬🇪🇺🇦

I don’t know how can you watch this without breaking down in tears. Youth took to the streets in Tbilisi yesterday 5th day of non-stop protest against Russian law. They chanted Sakartvelo, sang the national anthem and swore an oath to defend Georgia and Georgia’s European future.
I love Tbilisi. I find Ukraine and Europe in each and every inch of the city through flags, graffitis, street art, inscriptions. Its more than what I saw 3 months ago. I wish I could share each and every effort of Georgians to demonstrate we stand with Ukraine and we are Europe.
Third day of protest in Georgia. Full house again. Ruling party made verbal promises to withdraw the Russian law on foreign agents, but thinks the law is legitimate. People continue defending Georgia’s democracy and European future.

8-hours straight at 1AM thousands of Georgians stand in front of the parliament in protest against the Russian Foreign Agents Law and in Defense of the country’s Euro-Atlantic future. Protesters reiterate at that they remain peaceful and will continue so.

The country of Nine Brothers Kherkheulidze will always have 10 more people to keep the flag up if one is on the ground. Water cannons and tear gas can not stop Georgians objective and commitment to the European integration.

Past three days are so tragic for Georgia that I lost my ability to talk about it. We are completely paralyzed, mentally and physically. News about the lost and dead do not end; We find smiling faces from photos of children and people in their 20s under a title "found dead".
My camera fails to capture the magnitude of the protest against Russian draft law on Foreign Agents/Influence tonight. Protest is high in morale, is extremely diverse and free, most importantly confident in its ability to oust Russian law.

This is terrible to watch and post. Going after your own citizens in such a brutal and ruthless way to protect the occupiers and the enemies of your own country.
Bands should better know not to call Georgians and Russians “brothers and sisters”, like
@thekillers
did today, which resulted to the large audience booing and abandoning the concert.
No, we are not brothers and sisters. Russia is an occupier, not a sibling.
Every account claiming that protests in Georgia are orchestrated by the West is helping Kremlin propaganda. Kremlin that kills Ukrainians without a blink of an eye. Please think before becoming a part of Margarita Simonyan’s team.
Enormous amount of special forces are headed towards protesters who stand at the parliament. Tear gas, water cannons, special units, full-scale mobilization against the Georgian people.
#Tbilisi
witnessed one of its biggest pro-EU rallies in protest of Russian law today. Government fails to uphold its constitutional obligation to bring the country closer to Euro-Atlantic integration, as official Brussels says this law puts EU bid at risk.

Russian Law on Foreign Agent is not yet withdrawn. Verbal statement by the Georgian Dream that they are withdrawing the law means nothing. For the bill to be withdrawn after the 1st hearing, the only procedural way is to put in on the vote for the 2nd hearing and vote against it.
We don’t have video footages of what’s happening at the Kvareli Resort at the moment, connection is down and people only manage to post texts. This is the latest special forces photo I could find in the feed, these people are beating up peaceful protesters right now.
Thanks to the Georgian heroes 🇬🇪🇺🇦 - A mourning rally was held in front of the State Chancellery in Tbilisi, Georgia, after the country’s PM Gharibashvili denounced Georgian fighters in Ukraine, claiming they are tricked into seeking provocations by the “war party”.

Its almost 11PM in Tbilisi, it’s raining, Rustaveli is full of protesters whose demands are audaciously ignored by the government. 16 people are arrested for protesting Lavrov’s family’s feast in Georgia. None of them are released, direct flights with Russia haven’t been ceased.
