The most practice changing trial from #ASCO25 is now live on @NEJM .If this was a drug, this would be approved today. Globally relevant and low-cost intervention that is not only delaying relapse but actually improving survival. Perfect case example of a #cancergroundshot trial.

Was an amazing session and a great meeting #AUA25! Aging remains a major 'unmodifiable risk factor' underlying poor outcomes (+/- BCG) in NMIBC. Thanks to @AmerUrological, for inviting to present our work along the axis of 'immune system aging' and bladder cancer progression!
The Basic Sciences Symposium at @AmerUrological #AUA25 is titled “Inflammaging and Urologic Disease” Have you heard about inflammaging? Dr. Jill Macoska, CAIRIBU leader and co-chair of the Basic Sciences Symposium, breaks it down for us… ⭐️Inflammation systemically increases

Excited to share my PhD research in @CR_AACR and at #AACR2025 which elucidates the non-receptor tyrosine kinase Fes as a novel innate immune checkpoint whose deletion enhances innate immunity and sensitizes ICI-resistant tumours to anti-PD1 blockade! @QueensuSCRI @QueensUHealth
Out now: Simultaneous publication with an #AACR25 poster: Fes-Deficient Macrophages Prime CD8+ T Cells to Stimulate Anti-tumor Immunity and Improve Immunotherapy Efficacy https://t.co/NZFFd0wXUS

Big news👋. A positive R3 trial for PD-1 in NMIBC! The CREST trial evaluated sasanlimab (PD-1i)+BCG vs Standard BCG (induction and maintenance) in BCG-naïve, high-risk NMIBC.The study met its primary endpoint of EFS with ‘clinically meaningful’ results. https://t.co/8oRNdVgwZd
