"The DWP itself considers PIP fraud to be so minimal, it marks it at 0%.". Yet it's advertising covert surveillance roles to, in their words, "gather evidence to prove/disprove offences.". Medical knowledge? Training & understanding of the complexity of disability? Not in the ad.

The DWP is now recruiting even more people to spy on benefit claimants. The Canary previously reported on one round of DWP job adverts for 'covert surveillance officers'. Now, it has expanded its recruitment further.

This is what we mean by meaningful co-production: real collaboration with Disabled people, not top-down consultation. 🤝. The Timms Review needs:. Balanced representation ✔️.Ongoing evaluation ✔️.Full transparency ✔️.Meaningful parliamentary scrutiny ✔️. #DisabilityBenefits.

DWP is quietly pushing through Access to Work cuts - but may be forced to come clean. The DWP is not being honest about the cuts and changes it is making to Access to Work behind the scenes - so collective action is being taken. Get involved:.

DWP claims they're “implementing existing policy” & previous awards were “too generous.”. 86% of Disabled workers say AtW is essential to keep their job/business. 100% of employers say Disabled staff would struggle without it. "Too generous.". #AccessToNowhere @AccessToWorkCol.

We haven't heard a peep from the Government RE: the letter they received from the UN, and the response was due on Monday.⏰. Disabled voices have been brushed off for months; welcome to the club, @UN! Fancy a cuppa?☕. #DisabilityBenefits.

The UK Government from time to time finds itself in trouble with the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The present Government, in keeping with tradition, has just been written to by the UN, expressing concern at the cuts to #DisabilityBenefits. ⬇️

9/10 The Gov says it's still consulting on Access to Work. But people are losing support NOW. This erodes trust and threatens the future of workplace accessibility.

5/10 We know what we’re asking for: real, equal co-production. But is the Government truly willing to collaborate, or only interested in engagement at arm’s length? 🤨.
