“There are too many disabled people” Well that sounds very eugenicist… There are as many disabled folk as there are. It’s very simple. And no, that doesn’t mean they all claim disability benefits… actually many who don’t claim are eligible, but the system is too inaccessible

We don’t “Declare ourselves unfit for work” We are ASSESSED as being UNABLE to work, based on very strict and specific criteria. And this assessment doesn’t happen until someone (who has been working) has been unable to work for at least 28 weeks.
