Telling the stories not heard enough of working class culture & leisure, Coventry and beyond. Not Just Beer and Bingo! 1970s and 80s Coventry Dirty Stop Outs

A grim reminder of the past and how it relates to current times. Control the food supply, control the people.
Medieval nobility controlled meat access through Forest Laws backed by violence. Poach a deer, get hanged. The threat was explicit, brutal, visible. Modern elites achieve the same outcome without a single law restricting meat consumption. They don't need force. They have

In our @UKLabour manifesto in 2024 we committed to addressing the backlog in the criminal courts by expanding the number of prosecutors available. Nowhere did we threaten to do away with (some) jury trials. Had we done so the public would have rejected this idea. #SaveJuryTrials

Since when did cancelling scheduled elections become part of a thriving democracy? Never. This is very concerning indeed.
The existence of the Uniparty is beyond a shadow of a doubt today. Anyone who thinks the Tory party has ‘changed’ or ‘learnt its lesson’, needs to give their head a wobble. Whilst Kemi has said some sensible things recently, she’s sitting back and letting Tory councils cancel

A cancelled county election means that councillors have exceeded their term of office and have no mandate. An apathetic general public should be outraged, not meekly accepting such tyranny.

Very interesting indeed. You highlight basic aspects of nutrition that really affect the health and abilities of the 'lower classes' who do the work. Food is political, always has been.
1348: The Black Death hits Europe. One-third of the population dies. After the plague, something unexpected happens: The surviving peasants get healthier. Stronger. Taller. Why? Labor shortage. Peasants can demand higher wages. More money means they can afford meat for the

The https://t.co/iq8FAnhgel digital wallet 'age assurance' feature & its 'Digital ID - pints in the pub' is delayed due to many reasons, but most of all - public pushback. Yoti are ramping up preparation with their new ID checker-app. Let's explore some things they've said..

Public sector jobs and pay increase while private sector struggles https://t.co/xeN0zjuJsP 6.2 million mouths to feed in the Public Sector on lavish wages & pensions - most working from home 3 days a week. We are being mugged - big time.

Employment in the public sector increased by 7,000 in the three months to September 2025 despite a rise in private sector unemployment.

An all-encompassing system of surveillance and control We've know this was the plan for a long time. A big push back needed against this digital dystopia they're putting in place.
It doesn't stop at a QR code on your phone or login ID for govt services on the interweb. In time they need Bio-Metric Digital ID Because Agenda 2030 can only be enforced with Bio-Metric Digital ID already installed.

It’s worth repeating that Digital ID is being rolled out for money and control. The only convenience it has is for those profiting.

I’m not fighting wars for this government, BlackRock, or Lockheed Martin. Mocking people as ‘plastic patriots’ for refusing to die for corporate interests is evil and delusional.

Oh look Labour is killing the cow that feeds it! Business unemployment rises again. Whilst government grows the public sector & gives pay rises double those in the private economy. A shrinking private sector funding an expanding state. Unsustainable. Inept. Classic Labour.

It takes a rotten to the core and twisted government to deliberately punish those who produce the nation’s food.

It will be required for everything. Total control of our lives.
Don’t take my word for it. Let UN and WEF tell what Digital ID is required for. Health → Digital ID Voting → Digital ID Banking → Digital ID Travel → Digital ID Education → Digital ID Telecom → Digital ID Health care → Digital ID Government services → Digital ID

How lovely! I would have enjoyed being there very much.
Yesterday, in Northchapel, our church doors opened to something truly special. The pews filled with dogs of every kind — young and old, pedigree and rescue — each one bringing its own story, its own quiet hope. As the carols rose, tails wagged, heads rested gently on laps, and

Hello everyone. Feeling a bit despondent about X. We work very hard on the project, but despite having 9,000 followers, we rarely get more than 5 or 6 likes on any post!? We could do with knowing if we should stay here, and if there's still love for #Brochs? #Caithness
