Whether it’s dealing with Trump or fixing our relationship with Europe, the PM needs to start listening to Parliament and the public. If he doesn't he may not be in the job for much longer.

Parliament has just voted to cut Brexit red tape - passed on a knife-edge after the Speaker’s tie-breaking vote. My @LibDems colleague @AlPinkerton's Ten Minute Rule Bill calls for a bespoke UK–EU Customs Union. It’s the right move to fix our trade relationship with the EU.

The silent majority of British people are crying out for politicians to come up with practical solutions on immigration. That means recruiting more caseworkers, getting the backlog down, letting asylum seekers work and pay their way and creating safe and legal routes for

Today the Government had the opportunity to end the cost of living crisis, get Britain growing again and repair the £90bn Brexit black hole - by fixing our trade with Europe. It didn't.

David Lammy was right in 2020 when he called the jury system fundamental to our constitution. Now the government wants to remove juries from all but the most serious cases. It is dangerous and wrong and the Prime Minister must reverse it.

First it was stealth taxes on households, and now it’s a stealth tax on our high streets. The government is hammering businesses, we need an urgent VAT cut for hospitality services now.

After today’s higher business rates bills bombshell, I’m calling on the Chancellor to throw our high streets a lifeline by: ✂️using new powers to lower high street (RLH) business rates by the full 20p 🔶 slashing VAT for hospitality as we @LibDems have called for

Instead of hammering the country with taxes, the chancellor should be tackling the cost of living and helping businesses grow by cutting red tape. The biggest path to growth is repairing our relationship with Europe. @CalumMillerLD
