I spent a very enjoyable morning at the Sherborne Steam & Waterwheel Centre, a wonderful bit of community history maintained by a hardy group of volunteers. Only open to the public 11 days a year, it is well worth a visit.

It was my pleasure to join parents and children at the ASCape family picnic in Salway Ash. ASCape does fantastic work supporting families with children with autism or social anxiety. Thank you for inviting me along and for letting me pet the donkeys!

The sun was shining at the One World Festival in Dorchester today. Well done Dorchester Town Council, @club_dorchester, and South West Dorset Multicultural Network for organising such a great event.

It's #Farm24 and I want to say a huge thank you to the farmers of #WestDorset and their families. They produce our food and maintain our beautiful countryside. I won't stop fighting for a better deal for Britain's farming community.

On Friday I held the latest of my policy roundtables, this time on support for West Dorset's hospitality sector. My thanks to @DorsetCouncilUK, @VisitDorset, @Dorset_NL, @palmersbrewery, @WDLH, @PascUK, and all the others that took part.

Yesterday I joined Dean and Tom for a shift with @swasFT, and this morning I visited @dsairambulance. Both vital services for residents of West Dorset.

Great news but now Israel needs to allow the UN to deliver aid within Gaza as well. Air drops alone cannot meet the needs of the Palestinian people.

I spoke to @BBCNews about the need for the UK to join France in formally recognising Palestine.

Today the @CommonsForeign Affairs Committee published our report on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The UK should join France in recognising Palestine.
