Last week we heard from Lord @tariqahmadbt, he stressed that the most vulnerable members of society during conflict are women and girls, as they are impacted the most and therefore a priority when we think about resources being cut and withdrawn.

Earlier this week, former Afghan Deputy Speaker @Fawziakoofi77, told us that the Women, Peace and Security agenda, launched by the UN Security Council Resolution, has failed women in Afghanistan and women in other countries experiencing conflict.

During yesterday's session, former Afghan politician and first female Deputy Speaker @Fawziakoofi77 told us that based on her experience of negotiating with the Taliban, the inclusion and meaningful participation of women needs to be constantly monitored in peace processes.
