There's no way that someone vomiting 30 times a day in work would be ignored in the way that pregnant women with HG are. This is an issue of equality and maternal safety as well as putting an avoidable burden on the NHS. I'll be meeting with ministers soon. @wesstreeting 6/6.

Over 35,000 women were hospitalised with HG in 2023/24 according to @HGSupportUK with up to 2,000 pregnancies being terminated due to inadequate care. Yet, the govt is not including HG in its Maternal Safety Review - I am pressing them to change this absurd decision. 5/6.

Condemnation isn't enough. Children are starving to death and the Israeli govt presses on. Calls for a ceasefire are just ignored. The UK and our allies must act now. Recognise Palestine and sanction Netanyahu for a start.

HG is a brutal pregnancy condition - relentless vomiting, dehydration, malnutrition. Xonvea can help, but too many women face a postcode lottery to get it. I pressed the PM today for action and a meeting to fix this. Women deserve better. @HGSupportUK
