My sister is disabled and gets UC. Her partner has a car to drive her places. Recently someone damaged the car, he got an insurance payout but the DWP class this as income and have stopped her UC payment this month. Yet you can be a billionaire and get away with not paying tax.
Found out my cousin's partner died of covid. They were foster carers and their local council had asked them to care for two children. The council was desperate so they agreed. One of the children had covid. They passed it on to my cousin, his partner and his partners mother. 1)

I can remember as a child missing special events because I was ill. My Mum wouldn't think of taking me. This was back in the 70s/80s. Things have changed for the worse.

This doesn't look much like a Bee either. It's Minoan. It's art. Just as the tattoos are.
The Bee tattoo you are making fun of is in memory of those killed in a terrorist attack in Manchester. Many tattoos are personal to the person who has them. So what if they're not correct.
The child had a cough yet no testing was done by the council. Was this because so many in authority have been led to believe children don't get it and don't spread it.
Children get it children spread it.

I saw a comment saying that a neighbour couldn't be disabled because she wore makeup and was well dressed. I take it they want disabled people to dress in rags and go around barefooted.
A Robin, Abbey Gardens, Bury St Edmunds. Not the best picture in the world.

My partner got knocked off his bike yesterday by a driver who didn't stop. He hadn't done anything wrong. luckily he was ok. It's media stories like this that put peoples lives in danger. They dehumanise.
I'm no cyclist but I'm getting fed up of the anti cycling sentiment that I constantly see. A cyclist does something wrong and they all pile in. No-one seems to stop and think about the most dangerous mode of transport, the motor vehicle. People are killed and injured daily.
They all became very ill and sadly his partner died. They had postponed their wedding because of covid last year. Despite being ill and losing his partner he has been looking after the two children in his care. The council eventually sent another carer a few times a week. 2)
Feeling old after talking to someone who thinks all the classic Who Doctors were serious and not any fun and had never heard of Boris Karloff despite saying they like horror films.
Thunderbirds, Pit of Peril. My brother now in his late 30s, got me to buy a VHS cassette of this for him. He saw it in a shop window. He was about 5. He's still a Thunderbirds fan and loves the Sidewinder.
@autisticdreamer
My former place of work got some staff to pretend to be disabled so they could test out how accessible some exhibits were. I did ask why they hadn't got disabled people involved in the project. Didn't get an answer.
@B_Strawbridge
They could have had evening walks by lantern light with the theme being nocturnal wildlife. Storytelling by the light of lanterns would be very atmospheric as well. No need for everything to be lit up.
@janinemas0n
Reminds me of reading the parish council minutes in the parish newsletter where my parents live. I thought civil war was going to break out at one point. People were storming out, calling the police, accusing each other of theft. It made East Enders look tame in comparison.
@adamfare1996
I've sat down at concerts because of leg and back problems. None of the artists made any comments. If people are enjoying themselves weather sitting or standing, what's the problem.
@PlanningShit
One of my sisters has a driveway in her front garden, however the rest of it is grass and flower beds. She didn't want a completely sterile front garden. It can be done.
