Chatting with Bo about random interesting topics by the coffee machine is one of my greatest memories during the last year of grad school.
Meet Bo Xia, a systems biologist using both AI tools and experimental technologies to understand how the genome controls cell fate in health and disease. Learn about Bo in a #WhyIScience Q&A:

amazing, great to see this out~.
Our paper on continuous mutagenesis in living cells using HACE is now out in @ScienceMagazine! . We now demonstrate that HACE continuously generates mutations over a 10-day period and enables targeting using dCas9 without introducing DNA nicks.

Congrats, so happy for the field!.
BREAKING NEWS.The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the 2024 #NobelPrize in Chemistry with one half to David Baker “for computational protein design” and the other half jointly to Demis Hassabis and John M. Jumper “for protein structure prediction.”

Still remember the first time reading the cGAS and the cGAMP papers in grad school, mind blowing. Thank you for being a role model and a inspiration.
Congratulations to Zhijian “James” Chen, 2024 #LaskerAward winner! – “for the discovery of the cGAS enzyme that senses foreign and self DNA, solving the mystery of how DNA stimulates immune and inflammatory responses.” #Lasker2024 #LaskerLaureate

Congrats Adam, great to see the this masterpiece out, and I am privileged to follow the baking process.
Excited to share our study of T cell signaling, where we directed high-content, single-cell genetic screening to uncover how a single adapter protein orchestrates a complex cellular process essential for health. (1/14).
