I left Labour in 2020. I joined the Lib Dems a year later because of their social policies and commitment to helping the poorer in society. I said “let’s see how this goes.” I made the right choice. Now my blood runs gold. I’m a Lib Dem to my bones. 🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶

I was a trans kid. My parents never taught me about trans issues. School never told me about it. I never saw the media mention it. Nobody ever even talked to me about it, I didn’t know being trans was a thing.

I’ll add to this. Harry completely ignored my boundaries multiple times. Multiple times he asked me if he could “be my paypig” and multiple times I asked him to stop. I told him it made me uncomfortable, and he clearly didn’t care.

I was never exposed to the communities when I was younger and, what do you know, it still happened. I didn’t even know being trans was a thing until I was like 15 and I knew I was a girl way before. If you got rid of yours, great, good for you. But it ain’t happening here.

There should be no official recognition of social transitioning for under-18s and single sex spaces should be protected in schools. The Government should issue guidance to schools urgently to make this clear.
