I've just finished our verification process for BIMI, which now shows our logo on all outbound emails and displays a blue checkmark.
This verifies we have the trademark to the logo and that we're a legitimate company. It's pretty thorough.

I was there, too.
What you could do to get some experience is to:
- build one solid project that you can showcase in interviews
- contribute to open-source
- volunteer to help

I think that scheduling links are better for both the host and the invitee. As an invitee, I would much rather use a scheduling link than look through a few offered times, then tell them that I'm busy at all of those times and then continue with back-and-forth time suggestions.
