Some of the german devs I know consider Documenso boring because digital signing is not new. I disagree obviously. Getting a product right on more dimensions than the status quo is exiting and actual innovation. It's a philospical question mostly, we will still build oss signing.

Documenso doesn't btw
Docusign just admitted that they use customer data (i.e., all those contracts, affidavits, and other confidential documents we send them) to train AI . There also doesn't appear to be a way to withdraw consent, but I may have missed that.

Documenso will be a signing compliance framework for any jurisdiction or case. It will take some time, tho. What's important is that the compliance results are public, so nobody has to do the same work ever again.
