Managed a single Willow Emerald #Damselfly earlier today on #HumberheadLevels image showing typical ovipositing habitat but not always easy to survey🙃 Will leaf fall make it easier🤔 @BDSYorkshire

A nice surprise on my final Spurn butterfly transect for @YorksWildlife this afternoon was this male Willow Emerald Damselfly, landing by the coastal path near the lighthouse. Another new location on the peninsula for me. @BDSYorkshire @spurnbirdobs
