@ThreshedThought got it spot on in his interviews. To really understand @sewateruk is to understand their corporate culture. It is a bit like a cult, self congratulatory, lots of hollow we are sorry, but react dreadfully to criticism & full of self congratulatory/back patting.

Mike is too professional to suggest it, but if you are dissatisfied with @NatWestGroup’s response to this crisis you may want to consider any holdings/interests you have with them. That includes Royal Bank of Scotland and Ulster Bank, too.

The Green leader of Maidstone Council Stuart Jeffery has now called on the chair of South East Water Chris Train to be sacked alongside CEO Dave Hinton, he calls the companies performance a "Zero out of ten" after Dave Hinton last week called the companies response and 8 outta 10

New: The EFRA cmte will meet later this morning. Sources close to the cmte tell me they expect to recall South East Water boss Dave Hinton to parliament. They also expect to now formally request the chair Chris Train joins him after being less than impressed by his response.

Whatever your politics, this MP deserves to be re-elected at the next election. He is everything a local MP should be and has been nothing short of diligent and dogged in holding this abysmal firm @sewateruk to account whilst providing vital information they refused to offer.
Update 2145 Mon 12 Jan Power outages today meant that pumping stations serving parts of St John’s, Southborough, Langton Green, and Speldhurst failed, causing water outages in these further areas. The intermittent outages affecting South Tunbridge Wells and Pembury are still

This is the key point @sewateruk will not answer, neighbouring water companies faced similar weather conditions to SE water, they are having no such issues, mismanagement and poor leadership from SE water who haven't invested since the issue we had in 2022, no lessons learnt!
