At the annual ITFA Welcome Reception, the Sander Bais prize is awarded to the best students in the theory track for outstanding academic performance in the first year. We had Dr. Jasper van Wezel present the Sander Bais award to Hidde Stoffels the best student of 2022/2023.

This is one of the future directions in cosmology: Detection of the CNB! Main takeaways here are 1. Local overdensity ranges 1-100% for allowed neutrino mass ranges 2. Knowing MW mass is essential 3. There is positive/negative correlation with dark matter overdensity (continued)
