πŸš€Great work by previous @GRAPPAinstitute MSc student Androniki Dimitriou (now doing PhD at ITF Madrid), and @_astrocamila, about using simulation-based inference for end-to-end learning of dark matter halo mass function.

High-resolution cosmological N-body simulations are excellent tools for modelling the formation and clustering of dark matter haloes. These simulations suggest complex physical theories of halo...

Today is a good day to learn about #DarkMatter. DM interacts with us, baryonic matter, through gravitational force. But, does dark matter interact with itself through other mechanisms? @_astrocamila just released a preprint addressing this issue.

Colleagues, friends, Today was not a day off because I am upset about social injustice. It was the #Strike4BlackLives day to learn, reflect and engage in discussions. To begin our journey towards anti-racism in academia.

Sweden is in exponential growth. Germany and France are really like twins. For US, Sweden, France and Germany the doubling timescale is 2.15 days, which I find shocking. I personally think that is high time for us to do much more.

Thank you @lisaharveysmith for sharing the link! This is a indeed a great tool to start talking about bias.. Tried it myself and my data suggests little to no automatic association of Male and STEM. I will ask my colleagues @LeidenScienceEN to use it!

ASTRO3D researchers have found the most iron-poor star in our Galaxy. Extremely low metal levels indicate a star born from the debris of the first stars in the Universe. This guy is ancient! @ARC_ASTRO3D https://t.co/Dj7Rhne5Hp
