Rejecting the lived experience of @Amna4A as an Arab woman by Manchester Labour and ignoring the hierarchy of racism that exists within society is poor. The definition of anti Arab and Palestinian should have been accepted.

While the world’s attention turns away, Israel’s genocide in #Gaza continues. Earlier today, Israel carpet bombed Shati refugee camp, killing dozens Palestinian civilians, including many children. These cowardly attacks against innocent people sheltering in tents must stop.

Keir Starmer and David Lammy must speak and condemn this interception. All humanitarian aid must be able to reach people desperately in need. The UK govt have been active participants in the genocide. The eyes of the world must be on Gaza. Release the Madleen crew.

The Settlers, the doc I made for the BBC, is now available to stream in the US on BBC Select. It couldn’t be more timely with the announcement today that the Israeli govt has approved construction of 22 new settlements in the West Bank - which are illegal under international law.

We need to be honest about the human cost of this policy. More ambulances stuck outside A&Es. More patients dying in hospital corridors. More suffering. More patient harm. Because Starmer has chosen to prioritise cheap headlines above improving society. Way to go, Labour.

Keir Starmer denies pushing anti-migrant policies in order to chase Reform, saying that "I'm doing this because it is right, because it is fair and because it is what I believe". A reminder of what he said he believed when he was running for Labour leader.

Those who are uncomfortable with this Labour immigration announcement, but think it's necessary to satisfy Reform voters, this is for you. You will not satisfy. You will never satisfy.

This government is complicit in aiding the genocide and war crimes that all of us have been witnessing Israel commit on Palestinian civilian’s. No one can say they didn’t know. YOU know. And if you don’t care, then I’d seriously question your humanity.
