Today we held our 2025 AGM at Stormont We looked back at 2024, made plans for 2025, created a new Pride Sub-Committee and elected our new Exec Committee for 2025. @EoinTennyson also joined us to talk about his upcoming Private Members Bill and association development.

Last night I met with fellow committee members of @AllianceLGBT over pizza to reflect on the last year of activity, ahead of our AGM. We’re looking forward to sharing plans for new initiatives in 2025. Ps. The Hawaiian at Orto is 👌🤩

Site visit this evening to 2 Royal Ave with Council and LGBTQ+ Orgs to discuss plans for the new LGBTQ+ Hub. Really excited to see this project flourish and become the beating heart of the sector in Belfast.

Two history making moments in one day as North Down MLA @AndrewMuirNI becomes the first openly gay member of the NI Executive! Congrats Andrew!

Huge congrats to our South Antrim MLA @JohnBlairMLA who has been elected as a Deputy Speaker of the NI Assembly. John became the first openly gay member of the NI Assembly back in 2018 and has now made history, again, as the first openly gay deputy speaker!

Morning run on World AIDS Day with Positive Life @PositiveLife_NI hat and will be wearing red ribbon later. We need to raise awareness and stop the stigma #WAD23

In my Antrim constituency office and supporting @PositiveLife_NI on #WorldAIDSDay - work still to be done on ending the stigma around HIV and Aids and all of us can play a part.

This World AIDS Day we show our support for people living with HIV, and to remember those no longer with us. Let's work together to end the stigma attached to it and fight health inequality.
