I’m excited to share our latest preprint on the cell biology of plant hypersensitive cell death! 🌱💥.We used live-cell imaging to unravel what happens after resistosome activation—one of the least understood phases of plant immune responses.

We also saw cytoskeletal collapse: Both microtubules and actin filaments rapidly depolymerized. This breakdown may facilitate structural disassembly during death execution.
