No Planet Money! Not the Fake Graph! You can't compare mean productivity to median wages. When we do compare mean to mean, the gap disappears. Real median wages are not stagnating either. We need accurate data to solve today's very real problems. @planetmoney

I didnt intend to become the defender of PE in housing but they (1) supply a product (single family rentals) that some people desire (2) are generally an above average landlord (3) often build to suit rather than buy existing and (4) writers tend to lose their mind on the topic.

You don't understand--this is actually great. It's exactly what you want to see. This is the incumbent clinging to their old business model. This is your telco offering VoIP calling for 50% discounted long-distance rates, while Skype was free. This is so bullish all the crypto

Incredible innovation, @stripe is charging 1.5% to transfer USDC. I recently sent $200 of USDC on @base and my transaction fee was 0.00009% , or $0.000193. The tx fee would have been the same for $1 or $100M USDC Charging 1.5% simply to send USDC is ludicrously unreasonable

Exciting to see more banks embrace crypto like this. PNC Private Bank clients can now buy, sell, and hold bitcoin in their existing accounts. PNC is the first major US bank to support this type of offering.

I’ve always said Vance is the White Kendi. Here he is rejecting every scientific and academic paper that’s ever been written on immigration because of who writes it, saying without evidence they’re all getting rich. This is indigenous ways of knowing for hillbillies.

Mass migration is theft of the American Dream. It has always been this way, and every position paper, think tank piece, and econometric study suggesting otherwise is paid for by the people getting rich off of the old system.

I still think people would be surprised that it is literally illegal to build this almost everywhere in North America on like ten different zoning and fire code and building code grounds. It is insanity.

This is a brand new suburban Transit Oriented Community in Paris. I refuse to believe we cannot build new suburban “urban centers”in Toronto/Ontario like this, respecting our own local vernacular as well. Don’t tell me nice things aren’t possible in Canada.
