Took my baby girl flying today, first time in years. I demo’d steep turns. Asked if she wanted to try one. Expected “no, that’s too scary.” Instead, the airplane wordlessly rolled to a 45 degree left bank… with shockingly good attitude control.

Today I got to check off a lifetime goal set 15 years ago: flying faster than the speed of sound—I hit M1.18 in a T-38 this morning.
But supersonic flight shouldn’t be a bucket list item. It should be something anyone can experience—and in well less than 15 years, it will be.

How are we OK with the general stasis in home appliances? Dishwashers, washing machines, etc haven’t gotten meaningfully better in decades.
I want a machine that washes clothes, dries them, and folds or hangs them. Why is no one building this?
How are we okay with today’s stasis in home microwaves? People in the 1970s would be appalled at us.
We deserve:
- IR thermometers to understand what temp the food is
- Directional microwave beams that heat as needed.
Set a desired temperature, it dynamically does the rest.

Yesterday XB-1's wings were closed out successfully—meaning the skins and all internal structure and systems are bonded in place. We're gearing up for a full structural load test next month, followed by the wing to fuselage join in April.
