Both parties in the US seem to have forgotten that most people will be happy with whatever if the economy is doing well.

The current mayor is a literal cop, and they're trying to blame the current crime that he is currently failing to stop on Zohran, who hasn't even taken office yet.

this is not predicting, this is “responding to voting results”
Kalshi correctly predicted the winner of every single key race this year: ✅NYC Mayor ✅ NJ Gov ✅ VA Gov ✅ VA Lieutenant Gov ✅ VA Attorney General ✅ VA House of Delegates control ✅ CA Prop 50 ✅ All 3 Pennsylvania Supreme Court elections ✅ 2 other statewide Pennsylvania

While the water scare has always been 100% fake the energy usage from data centers is real. But the correct solution is to build a shitload of new energy, not to make it illegal to build data centers. This is the point of abundance. We can choose to have nice things!
I’m deeply concerned about a data center built by tech billionaires who are openly cozying up to Trump and attacking our democracy. We should be fighting to lower our energy bills and protect our Great Lakes, not announcing projects that will raise rates & drain water resources.

My grandfather was a teenager when his dad got this pistol and took it overseas to serve in WWI. As of today it's been in the family for over 107 years, and hopefully will remain in the family until there are either no more guns or no more people. What's your oldest or favorite

@boguswaves1 @drawn_daggers I don't just have an idea that it can't happen, I know it can't happen. You will never collect and destroy every gun in the entire world, or even half of them. Won't happen, ever.

When the Bruen decision struck down may-issue laws, Everytown's president claimed that it was "out of touch with the overwhelming majority of Americans": https://t.co/2PxNXdrBgA

Not paying air traffic controllers since October 1st because of a government shutdown sounds like a wise move. The stress associated with no paycheck for over a month along with maybe some reasonable resentment for those responsible for that stress doesn't at all sound like a

If you want to know why people are turning away from capitalism, it’s s#%t like this: private firms wanting to keep upside of investment while taxpayers cover their downside. Proponents of capitalism need to fight like hell against this.

You know who disagrees with the phony concerns expressed in this article? The Ninth Circuit!!! In a case decades ago concerning ordinances that had created Vampire Rules for door-to-door solicitors, the Court had this to say: “Under the Idaho Falls and Pocatello ordinances,
Today on the blog: how the Supreme Court's Wolford case implicates questions about 1st Amendment protection of speech on private property and why the justices should consider those comparisons.

The past year has been very revealing in terms of how many people in the 2A space I thought were decent are nothing more than crass bigots. It’s GREAT that it’s all out in the open sunlight, though. Now that I know clearly what some of these people think — they’re _conditional_
