We should all strive for an internet that's free, fair, and open — we owe it to ourselves.
Bots threaten this — but so does charging $8 a month for Twitter! We have better, more effective ways for users to prove they're human.
@Worldcoin
fixes this.
Hey everyone!
I recently moved to Chicago on a more permanent basis -- who should I meet? My current network revolves mostly around school, and I want to change that.
Introduce yourself or someone else I should know!
I wrote an article! I've been a part of some unbelievably great teams over the past year, and I wrote about Superfluidity, the thing that made those teams great:
as a founder i have learned how easy it is to get attached to the things you build
for example, today i accidentally superglued my hand to my prototype
my favorite part of the whole $CAR auction was hearing how much everyone enjoyed the website and auction process. it's the first time as a PM that i've felt like i've helped create something that people truly loved
Hilarious that people actually support taking money away from the world’s best capital allocators (entrepreneurs & investors) and giving it to the world’s worst capital allocators (governments).
We should keep resources in the hands of our smartest, most ambitious citizens.
just want to take a second to thank
@boop
,
@negroprogrammer
, and the rest of the
@DispoHQ
team for making everyone's Friday afternoon/evening this joyful
psst... if you have a World ID (whether verified with a unique device or the orb), you can claim some fun merch for free to celebrate the launch of World ID 2.0!
this is the first project i’ve shipped at
@worldcoin
, and i couldn’t be happier!
our privacy tech is built on web3 roots, but its benefits are for everyone — and the auth0 marketplace makes it more accessible to the tech industry as a whole than ever before :)
It’s been a very fast ride with
@itiseyemoutheye
! I’m off to sleep now, since I skipped most of my sleep last night, but I’m so happy to have been a part of this team.
Good job y’all.
It is what it is: successful.
We've all talked about 'AI bots' taking over Twitter -- but how hard is it to actually tell what's human and what's AI?
I built a game to test myself, and I found that AI is funnier than I thought -- and it's harder to tell than I expected!
Try it out:
you know in college when you'd go to the library with friends and you'd yell at them if they were on fb/twitter when there was an exam tomorrow
that's what i'm trying to replicate
peer accountability is hard async
- i almost had a career in bowling pro shops
- i helped
@SHL0MS
blow up a lamborghini before i was legally allowed to drink
- i’ve been run over by a sailboat
- my friends and i made ken griffin pay $43M for some old paper
want to grow your company?
focus on moving the needle EVERY single day, in each part of the business
you dont need huge jumps, just constant improvement, refinement and growth
keep sense checking “are we going in the right direction?” & “is this strategy actually working?”
i owe so much to everyone i follow here. twitter has brought me so many friends and meaningful relationships and i just want all of you to know how much you mean to me
No one is going to save you, no miraculous event will happen, there's no silver bullet to make ur life the way you want it to be. It's just you and the actions you take everyday
Sounds dark, but it's actually positive. Ur in the driver's seat and ur gonna fckn crush it
good morning twitter! i woke up early, made myself a coffee, went for a walk and watched the sunrise over the lake, and am feeling extra grateful today.
each and every one of you have impacted me in a positive way -- i appreciate you all more than you know!
have a good day :)
Super happy to say that I've been named to
@ChicagoInno
's 25 Under 25! I've already met a few people from this list -- I'm honored to be ranked among them.
Nobody will remember:
- Your salary
- Your fancy title
- How ‘busy’ you were
- How stressed you were
- How many hours you worked
People will remember:
- nothing. you are a speck of dust in the endless field of spacetime. from primordial soup you came and to soup you will return
I can attest to just how far a $1000 grant can go, especially when building hardware! That 'little nudge' to get things going can take your idea all the way to an MVP -- you don't need a $1M+ round to prototype.
Seriously, student/dropout friends --
@1517fund
is fantastic!
Interested in working on something over the summer but think it's too early to apply to our Invisible College program? Remember -- we have our $1K grant program too for high schoolers, college students, and dropouts!
i guess this is as good a time as ever to share that
@EschatonTech
will be pivoting to something new, and i'm so very excited to share with you all what we'll be doing shortly
keep your eyes and ears open 👀
