I understand that when printing a book that putting the notes at the end probably helps with actual printing needs or even ease of reading but I prefer notes on the page they're noted on. It's annoying to flip back and forth for the context.

Exactly. If you're in a community you're accepting that the community is going to have some of a say about your actions. Otherwise why be in one?.
@travis4nh the hard nuance of this is that communities should be able to control who gets to live in them, if a guy in a neighborhood fills his property with rusted junk cars and aggressive dogs, everyone will want him gone, people are acted like living in a nice subdivision should be.

Bill Ayers is still in academia, regarded mostly well by the Dem establishment, and was at least some type of influence in Obama. Compare that with Eric Rudolph. They are not materially different in my eyes, but one was embraced by their mainstream counterpart and one wasn't.
