Brains are very susceptible. Steer yours properly. View the sunrise, thank God for another day living and then go get meaningful things done. Trolls and drama are there to test your focus. Happy Friday!

I asked @quentin_lake how it feels to see all those 49ers fans in SoFi... This was his response:
Any time I think about the Rams, I think about how much crowd noise was pumped in the stadium during that NFC Championship game. Never heard SoFi that loud before or after that game and I’m pretty sure the Niner fans were still the majority of ticket holders that game too 🧐

This is one of my favorite parts from the podcast. Derek Sivers talking about this relationship with money and what he's learned from the book "How To Get Rich" by Felix Dennis. I first discovered this book thanks to @thesamparr, who couldn’t stop talking about it. I highly
New pod with @sivers is now out! Topics: • The lessons Derek learned from selling CD Baby for $22M • Why fame is overrated and the hidden downsides no one talks about • How to turn fear into confidence with one simple rule • The dangers of consuming without creating and

Do so much volume it would be unreasonable for you to fail. Study each success and see what sets it apart from all the failures. Repeat the winning parts even more times. Don't change your mind before you let compounding - compound.

"The craziest thing about Junior... is I've never met somebody who was the best player on the team but had the attitude like they were the 53rd man on the team who may get cut at any moment." @marcelluswiley reflects on Junior Seau. A special player and special human being.

For those who don’t get the meme, it’s actually straightforward and has a pretty cool backstory. In WWII, engineers studied returning planes to see where to add armor. At first glance, you’d reinforce the spots riddled with bullet holes. But a mathematician realized the opposite

A reminder that NFL players face real life struggles just like the rest of us. Cesar Ruiz found out his great grandmother passed away the morning of a game against the Bears. He still suited up that night and played one of his best games.
Chiefs All-Pro DT Chris Jones - who was added to the injury report with a non-injury designation - currently is in Mississippi attending his aunt Don’s funeral and will be flying back to Kansas City right after to make it in time for today’s game vs. the Ravens, per the Katz

Simple not easy advice on getting rich: Step 1: Do a lot of stuff. Step 2: Watch what works. Step 3: Do more of that. People typically either skip step 1, or define "a lot" as < 1000 times.

I think about this quote often: “I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game‑winning shot, and I missed. I have failed over and over and over in my life. And that is why I succeed.” -
