“Hard work pays off, dreams come true. Bad times don’t last, but bad guys do.”. -Scott Hall “Baseball very silly game…..how can man with four balls walk?”
High school baseball players: PLEASE do not post your commitment before calling and thanking every coach that offered you, letting them know you’re committing elsewhere. You never know if they will end up being your future coach down the road
HIGH SCHOOL CATCHERS: SPOILER ALERT umpires can see you catch the ball, move it 6 inches up and 5 inches over to the left. We see that. Stick the baseball, try to catch with a flat glove. Make only Subtle movements, if any. Make it look natural, not manipulated.
Looking for some help creating a real simple logo, I’m not good with technology. Can anyone recommend a good graphic designer to help me create a logo?

, you will never truly understand how good these guys are, how underrated and underappreciated this entire league is. Watch NAIA baseball in the postseason, truly one of the most entertaining baseball leagues out there.
Peep the catcher, his name is Hunter. Not sure of his last name. Mad respect for that kid! Wins a Natty but has to shake the plate guy’s hand, first.
Did the same thing in the prior semifinal game with me when I had the plate. Great kid.
Also hit a TANK in semi
@CoachMongero
Coach, I was an umpire for every PG event in Marietta this year. Not a single case that I know of. Intermingled with 8 teams a day between 4 games, never had anyone say they felt sick whatsoever. Very positive outlook on this whole thing now
@JoeyMulinaro
“That’s why he’s one of the best players in the game at that position.” -Cris Collinsworth about every fucking player in the history of the league
@SwagnShades
Let’s face it, nobody likes the rule. But, as an umpire, if you want to umpire postseason this must be enforced. This is the whole “accountability” issue everyone wants to bring up, but never solve. There is accountability, but you can’t pick and choose rules to enforce
@BraveJayhawk513
@BaseballBros
Man, as a coach? Parent and kid are done. As as umpire? I’m not sideshow shorty there for everyone’s entertainment. I’m out. That umpire did exactly right, just drop em and leave. No yelling at everyone and everything...
@GowagsKyle
Gotta be “just throw strikes”
This has an added comical element to it when you have a kid under his breath saying “oh no shit, coach? I would’ve never guessed judging by the C squatting right behind the plate with his glove right there”
TIMEOUT: We're STILL gonna celly after Casually missing a bomb? Or is the era of pimping the shit out of doubles finally upon us? Regardless, Disregarding the possibility of getting thrown out bc we stood there and WATCHED A BALL THAT DIDN'T EVEN HIT THE WALL…MATTER OF FACT,
@JeffMoyer41
Someone needs to create what travel baseball used to be. Which is, only the Elite of the elite in your area. Otherwise, you played little league/Rec, etc.
This is an embarrassing effort.We need to be better and create something to benefit players,not just take their parents $
I wonder how many parents realize that when they yell instructions to their kid while he’s in the batters box, he’s secretly saying “shut the fuck up” under his breath.
PARENTS: YELLING INSTRUCTIONS TO YOUR KID IS COUNTERPRODUCTIVE. STOP IT
@JerSiegs
This is a borderline stri-ball. This pitch is too close to take. Even if the location of the pitch crossing is accurate (usually isn’t until post-game), that pitch is about an inch from touching black. We can’t act like this is egregious.
Or you could, like stop blaming the umpire for catching the ball like shit.
This account has literally turned into bashing umpires every week when the catcher butchers a pitch.
And before you say “it doesn’t matter, call it a strike”, it does matter. It’s called game

@IDreamOfNinja
What a CHICKENSHIT way to answer people’s responses, using the same tired lines over and over.
Oh, I’m sorry, comparing PETA to chickenshit may hurt the feelings of a piece of chickenshit.
I’ve said this before, but getting to play against Air Force academy in college was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I have the utmost respect and love for every single one of those dudes (and ladies) that serve our country. Thank you for all that you do!

@JeffMoyer41
This is exactly why someone needs to start a league with only the most elite players in the area. Play 3 game series, travel, play a full “college summer” schedule if you want. But create series so players can show making adjustments and get an idea of what college ball is like
@JomboyMedia
100% correct call. Ball doesn’t have to touch the runner? Don’t know where that came from, but whoever is broadcasting the game should be required to have the rulebook in front of them. How do people honestly listen to commentators talk about baseball not knowing the rules?
@JomboyMedia
What precedence has been set for this to be considered to be ‘reviewing a ball/strike call’ vs ‘reviewing whether this was a catch/no catch’?

Baseball is no freaking joke. Go to one of the coolest looking fields in ALL of college baseball and show out. Great guys up there, high school players pay attention!
I loved this man. One of the funniest people I’ve ever met in my life and always at the right time. A legend in west forsyth football, he’ll be greatly missed.
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Coach Bobby Fuller. He was an integral part of building our football program and will be greatly missed.
Shoutout to one of my favorite catchers of all time

had the pleasure of umpiring your 15u group in the WWBA finals, your team is special. They had one of the most impressive/dominant summers I’ve ever seen. Congrats on a great year
Listen, I actually love the kid at the top. Absolute freaking stud and a great kid on top of it. Met him at 17u WWBA last yr and was very impressed.

BREAKING NEWS
President Biden signs Executive Oder mandating umpires to start calling balls and strikes from dugout, as it has become clear over the past few years that coaches do indeed have a better view from a bucket in the dugout.
I’m such a huge advocate for this. Don’t act perfect, guys.People expect us to be perfect, as we do ourselves. But let’s be honest, we’re not. You mess up? Wear it. Guys have a lot more respect for umpires that don’t act like they’re always right.Have some humility, gentleman
I’m not really sure what to say, or how to feel, but thank you Neyland. Thank you for teaching us all a lesson in fighting. A lesson I’ll never forget. You were the true epitome of a warrior and a fighter.

To say that it’s cool seeing some of the boys get drafted is an understatement. I had nothing to do with their journey, but getting to know them Makes me so proud. Not bc they got drafted high. That has nothing to do with it.
I’m more Impressed with the MEN they have become
I misspoke. Should’ve never said stick the baseball. And should have clarified that I meant that moving a ball DRASTICALLY does nothing. That’s what I meant by 5x6in. When done correctly at High levels, moving the ball subtly is a beautiful, beautiful thing.
@JWonCATCHING
This is EXACTLY what catchers need to hear. As an umpire, I can tell you that when a catcher sets up in it is the toughest spot for an umpire. The slot almost disappears, so being low early helps us get set tremendously. Thx for sharing
@baseballifer11
Speaking strictly for umpires, 8am games blow. Especially due to the fact we usually are the ones staying late the night before to finish the night games. I’ve finished games at 1 or 2am and had to do the 8am the next day. I DARE someone to bitch about balls and strikes 😂
@11point7
@redins_
UNPOPULAR OPINION: batter AND umpire are wrong in this situation.
Instead of focusing on that, focus on the real BROTHER- the catcher. Dude knows he’s about to regret those actions, trying to calm my dude down before he gets what he knows is coming. That’s a Real G

this weekend at the all American game. Great kid, and shocker, he’s gonna be a stud.
I see way too many coaches calling pitches at 12-17u age groups. And doing a crappy job on top of that. Let the boys learn how to call pitches, the only way they will learn is by doing it!
Players on the travel circuit just finished playing around 40 games this summer. Around people constantly, intermingling, congregating, playing and working their asses off. Why in the world can this not be done in collegiate sports?! There’s something going on behind the (1)
Rewording this question:
NEED HONEST ANSWERS COACHES
What % of HIGH SCHOOL coaches would pass the same rules test umpires have to take? How about the required 85%, if you want to call postseason?
Now let’s take that to TRAVEL coaches?
What % of those coaches would pass the
What % of travel ball coaches would pass a test regarding their sports IQ?
Example: Runner on second base and fly ball to right field, who is the cut off to third?
People need to stop talking about things they are: A) not experienced enough to talk about and B) not willing to listen to a factual argument against.
Robot umpires will be calling shit in the dirt. Literally a ball that will have to be thrown out after the pitch, bc it’s
Some of the best coaches I’ve ever seen were NOT the best ball players. Some guys are so naturally talented, they can’t communicate how or what they did.They just did it. That’s why Guys who weren’t the best players CAN be good coaches, they had to study the game on another level
I truly believe if people took the time to learn umpiring it would greatly improve the game in MULTIPLE ways. Less arguing, more understanding. More accountability, less bullshit. If we normalize talking about umpire scores, tendencies, etc. it will hold those accountable
Had a 15u player get chastised by a college coach for decommitting, simply because he told the coach “I made my decision too early,too young. I need to re-open my recruitment to see all of my options”coach couldn’t accept the fact that he realized on his own, he decided 2 quickly

I’d gladly take a couple assault charges. Good for the courts not throwing the book at these two. They deserved every damn blow they got in.
Someone should start a go fund me for these legends.
Are we gonna really sit here and judge people for what they said 15 years ago?
You’re telling me if cameras were on you 24/7 there’s nothing in your past you’d be ashamed of? Bull
Kid is a stud, gonna be a great pick up for someone. I called the no-hitter. When I tell you dominant, I truly mean it. Probably +85% strikes with fastball and O/S.
Athletic backstop, catch and throws skills with quick hands at the plate, up to 86 mph with a recent no-hitter. 📈

This may not be popular but I’ll say it anyway. We, as umpires, need to get better. And I don’t mean going to more 3 man camps to be told how good you’re not. Tighten the zones up, manage the coaches and the game better. Do your job better. Be a damn professional
Proud of this kid. Great kid who works his ass off to be the best catcher he can be, and has ALWAYS taken care of me back there. Congrats kid, PC got a steal here

High school baseball players: enjoy every day from now through the end of this season. You know what it’s like to have it taken away, don’t have it happen again, leaving you with regrets of not giving your absolute best. Kick ass. Get after it. Be better. In every single way.
Detached equipment! Learn this rule. 1 base- pitched ball
2 bases-thrown ball
3 bases- batted ball
This also applies to catcher using his mask to move the ball in any way.
How many of my college catchers would be interested in doing Group Catchers workouts in the off-season at east cobb? Could probably take between 4-6 guys, but would love to use this as a chance to get better, a thinktank, and an opportunity for my young guys to see what a

This gentlemen was the umpire for our youth baseball game. Tied after 6 & it was supposed to be over. He said “they are having fun, let the boys play longer.” It went 9 innings! The world feels like a mess, but there are so many wonderful souls out there. Just had to share.
