Good hitters work low line drives through the middle because it is efficient training (checks a lot of boxes) and prepares them for game conditions. Bad hitters chase desired in-game results in BP which prepares them poorly for game conditions.

I appreciate what Max is doing but absolutely hate it. The pitcher has way more control and the hitter only has one chance to combat it. The more I watch, the more I ask myself, "What the f are we doing.".
Max Scherzer, Pitch Clock Gamesmanship. Long hold. Adams takes his only time out. Then Max stays set so he can pitch as soon as Adams is ready.

A few hitters for Oral Roberts made me think of Craig Biggio. Biggio doesn't get a lot of pub, but he's a Hall of Famer and (according to Google) is the only player in baseball history with at least 3,000 hits, 600 doubles, 400 stolen bases and 250 home runs. Pretty good!

From a leverage standpoint:. If the rear elbow is behind the hands, you'll push. If the rear elbow is ahead of the hands, you'll pull with that elbow (and people will call it bat drag.). If the rear elbow gets aligned with the hands, the body's turn can reach the barrel.
