I have said this many times : The middle class, lower & lower middle class are extensively using public transport. It's your core vote bank - The urban elite upper class that uses cars even for solo commutes. Please work on bringing behavioural changes in that specific group !
Tokyo moves most of its population on rail based public transportation systems. Here, we are obsessed with car centric infrastructure. Unless we change this approach, we will be stuck in jams.
