If you are engaging in #cognitivedissonance by intermittently wearing a respirator 😷 during this ongoing #SARS2 #pandemic, you are not as noble as you claim to be. Especially, if you post photos & videos of yourself w/o 😀 a respirator at events. Please be consistent. #MaskUp

Apparently I am paying X a monthly fee in exchange for a permanent shadowban & a near-constant wall of notifications from hordes of anonymous bot accounts with approximately 1-150 followers, that repeat, “Kill yourself, you stupid bitch,” over & over, all day long.

Long COVID brain fog is real — and now, we know what’s causing it. A breakthrough brain scan reveals the science behind the symptoms. Scientists in Japan have identified a biological cause behind the cognitive “brain fog” experienced by many Long COVID patients—a breakthrough

Admits that norovirus is also airborne but does not recommend masking 🙃 Not only do masks reduce your risk of breathing in the virus, they reduce fomite transmission by preventing you from touching your nose and mouth.
Norovirus is a cool virus because it doesn't have a lipid envelope. That means it’s an incredibly sturdy virus. In addition to causing violent vomiting, diarrhea, & stomach cramping, it can be shed in stool for 2 weeks, AND hand sanitizers are ineffective. FUN! 1/

Fantastic news. FDA approves extension of Dr. Soon-Shiong's drug Anktiva for long Covid trial to six months. Thus far, LC participants have received 2 shots. Do you know many shots patients will get in total, Julie?
WAITING TO GET MY THIRD INJECTION OF ANKTIVA! THE TEAM HAD A SURPRISE FOR ME WHEN I ARRIVED TODAY: THE @FDA APPROVED THEIR APPLICATION TO EXTEND THE CLINICAL TRIAL TO SIX MONTHS! YAY!!!!! 🍾🎉🥳🎊

Oh, well. Everyone appears to have decided to actively condemn their income source to what is an AIDS death by drawing parallels to ME/CFS.
“Our findings redefine SARS-CoV-2 infection as a condition of long-lasting immune compromise. The sustained subnormal lymphocytes—particularly in cardiovascular disease cohorts—highlight a key immunologic feature of long COVID and underscore the need for personalized care.” 1/2

They need to add some chapters to macro and micro economics textbooks about what happens when you choose to send everyone to school and work sick, when you run your population into the dirt with disease, something you consider going forward for the economist all-stars

Haven't heard back, but I think this angle is important for the larger narrative. "Repeated COVID infections gradually destroy the bodies of the most elite athletes" needs to become a core part of the story.

I found a guy who specializes in studying tendons at Stanford and sent him this email: Dear Dr. Abrams, I am writing to you as a current Stanford Long COVID patient and a patient-activist deeply involved in the Long COVID community. I have been analyzing the post-pandemic rise

@disclosetv Weird, since these dramatic increases in heart attacks began before anyone got Covid vaccines.
“By the second year of the pandemic, the dramatic increases in heart attacks blew apart the models used to predict how many people would lose their lives to these events.” https://t.co/jsFxvkplev

Hearing about flu, but not seeing non-pharmaceutical interventions implemented, maybe we don’t want results, “6 feet”, masks of any kind, sanitizer, all the stuff that failed for SARS-2, is wildly successful against influenza, oh that’s right “not going back”, sickness it is

@BGatesIsaPyscho I got Covid in 2020, in my 30s. I immediately developed severe hypertension & tachycardia & was diagnosed with heart damage. Prior to getting Covid, I was running 40mi/wk, teaching hot yoga, & sailing. Now I’m disabled, & on 3 heart meds. I have never had a single Covid vaccine.

"SURPRISE, mother*******!" COVID said, like Doakes said to Dexter, but to @Marc_Veld. You see, Marc has consistently held forth that LongCovid will go down once we have immune populations. Which is rubbish...as is shown by this study.
A new RECOVER study of 6.4M health records shows Long COVID risk has not decreased from 2020–2024. Incidence stayed stable across variants, reinforcing Long COVID as an ongoing public health priority. Read the study: https://t.co/RN66kGhyxM
