Hot take: 60 times in baseball are a horrible evaluation tool and shouldn’t be a thing. At no point in a baseball game will you ever run 60 yards in a straight line. If you want to measure speed just run a 40 and use those splits. If you want base running then just run the bases.

They got on base a lot, ran the bases well and played good defense. All very important things so I’d say they provided really good value.
I have a great debate question for you guys. David Eckstein and Craig Counsell. One is a 18U Team USA Coach and one is a MLB manager. Both have 2 World Series rings, Counse was a 2001 NLCS MVP, and Eck was a 2006 World Series MVP. David was also a 2X All Star. What modern,.

Movie had too many black people in it and Portnoy couldn’t handle it.
I’ve heard all the hype about Weapons. Planned my entire weekend around watching it. I didn’t realize it wasn’t available to stream yet. So I went with Sinners instead. I may be like 6 months late with this critique but that was one of the most overhyped overrated movies.

Apparently OPS isn’t a factor in being a complete ball player lol.
The Yankees have a lot of players chasing production they can't generate, says @CameronMaybin. "Let's promote the complete ball player again instead of just the OPS guy."

I mean there’s nothing wrong with this. In no line of work do you not go into a task/project and lay out if/then scenarios. Like that’s basic common sense so I don’t see how Boone and whoever else is in the discussion doing the same thing is a bad thing before the game.
on the first episode on my podcast we discussed if the yankees should fire aaron boone or not. watch the full episode on youtube.

I simply CANNOT express to you how stupid you have to be to believe that a professional baseball organization doesn’t practice fundies as a part of their player development.
Jomboy: . "We've talked to umpteenth [Yankees] minor leaguers. we were talking to someone recently, 'we never did situational baseball, we never did situational hitting'".
