So, it really is about hiding the truth, spreading miss information so they can continue to profit out of a lie. Be it a left professor who enjoys making money out of marxism lectures / books, or a right bond trader who enjoys the profits of free money given out by the Gov.

The right, anti-mmt do not like it since it shows the government actively tilting markets in favour of those who are rich. One of those 'market manipulation' things is selling bonds are not needed once MMT is known. But, lots of right wing types get rich out of bond interest.

My guess is this. The Left anti-mmt do not like MMT, because it is difficult to map marxism onto MMT, which is based on the power sitting with the rich and powerful, with the worker needing to seize control of the means of production. But, MMT shows its the Gov who have power.

I know free market, stock traders, people you would consider 'Right Wing' , who very much are pro MMT, and use understanding of MMT to enhance their trading. So why would some, left, or right, want to hide the truth. ?.

This is worth a discussion. MMT really is the way it works. It is neither pro-left, or pro-right. Its just is. I know left wing people who are against MMT. since MMT shows we do not need to take money from rich people in order to fund things. .
