Excited to share our new work on the proline-rich antimicrobial peptide Api137, which disrupts large ribosomal subunit assembly and induces RNA misfolding. Big thanks to the Spahn & Hoffmann groups for this amazing collaboration!

Our study on the "structural conservation of antibiotic interaction with ribosomes" is out in @nsmb. Mammoth effort led by Helge Paternoga and @caillancm reporting structures of 17 antibiotics in complex with the ribosome at 1.6-2.2Å resolution. PDF at.
