Exploitation of empathy.

Pro tip for future revolving-door admins: When forcing the staff to implement a new acronym, always say it puts our students first. That way, when a teacher uses facts and data to prove you wrong, you just tell them they must not believe in putting students first.

It’s time for an open and honest discussion about this issue. Last week, a HS teacher emailed me stating that seniors who had failed courses, some with 0% or over 80 absences, were placed in edgenuity, where they passed in days so they could walk in graduation.

Administration is aware of the up-and-coming teacher shortage. As always, we will be proactive in addressing the issue by waiting about a month or so into the school year before taking steps to form a committee.

The only viewers who actually prefer an all-at-once binge model are those who like to rush online to discuss TV with strangers because no one in their real lives has had time to binge it all. TV should bring us together. Netflix releases isolate us from each other.
