My mom’s house and car got broken into several times when I was a kid. My bike got stolen. Cops were called, and the only thing we ever got back was the bike, stripped, because someone tipped mom off and we drove over there and confronted the thief. Cops never helped.

Our brave and brillant colleague Daphne Caruana Galizia did not brake the story, she was not even part of the panama papers team. She had her own sources and was obviously dangerous to power. Malta misses her badly. We miss her badly.
