Change is on the ballot. After 30 years, New Yorkers have the opportunity to elect someone new, with the ideas & energy to fight for us for the next decade. Our campaign is surging and we're on the verge of one of the biggest political upsets in history.

My friend @urrutiafornh has been a fighter his whole life, a veteran, a lawyer, a Biden appointee who worked to shut down Guantanamo Bay. We need Democrats like him to step up across the country & fight for working people to have a fair shot. Thrilled to support him! #nhpolitics.

This is the beginning of the Great Trump Energy Inflation, this bill will raise energy prices on everyday Americans by approx 15%, what in incredible own goal. Idiocracy level shit but I’m sure Susan Collins “has concerns”.

When he says he did the Art of a Deal, we're the ones who got played. A 10% across the board tariff is still a massive supply shock, something no normal economist would say is a "win" but he anchored us to awful and we got very bad instead.

So, just getting this straight: . We still have a 10% global tariff.125% tariffs on China. And 25% tariffs on autos. Correct? . And if so, what do we think growth is going to look like next quarter?.

I'm hearing that "they" should not shut down Treasury auctions since we must continuously refinance debt & pay for things. Treasury auctions weren't stopped during the Civil War, two World Wars, & two pandemics because they're a cornerstone of our creditworthiness.

I’m hearing they are dumping UST to try and move rates to shift narrative and make our upcoming Treasury auctions more expensive. May make sense to delay auctions to next week. China can’t sell indefinitely.

Such a meeting somewhere neutral, like Geneva, Switzerland. And it could have a clear name and mission like The World Trade Organization where we could negotiate a General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs, which is a mouthful, so we will call it GATT.

My current best view:. Trump lets tariff reactions play out for a few weeks. Sees the trend of capitulations and is emboldened to keep going. He fields offers from everyone. Negotiates with no one. Then brings everyone to MaL in a month or two and puts an offer on the table:.

Watch carefully what’s happening: he’s going to conflate trade deficit with our fiscal deficit in the coming days. MAGA will follow suit and say “we had to do something about the deficit.”. It’s not fake news, it lying and the Republican will join him rather than stop it.

It is unbelievable that we don't not have Democrats who can simply call tariffs what they are a $1 trillion tax increase - the largest in US peacetime history - that is incredibly regressive and hits working people the most. Equivocating around a lie empowers the Liar in Chief.
