This is spectacular math. In opting in to a “no rules, no board, no CFO, two-bit auditor” game, your odds of $0 outcome went way up. Did you consider that in your EV calculation?
"Take the probability of loss times the amount of possible loss from the probability of gain times the amount of possible gain.” WB The amount of possible loss with an unaudited exchange is 100%. If the probability of that loss is even 2% is that acceptable? What about 10%?
