#OtD 1 Apr 1649 the Diggers, a group of Protestant radicals, occupied St George's Hill in Surrey, UK, and began tilling the land collectively. The Diggers advocated a kind of proto-communism based on direct action, common ownership and the end of hierarchy https://t.co/f3wi2uaJ2Y

Fucking grotesque. Doesnt feature anything about the PPC, or what he would do for Stoke. It shows they're chancers, grifters and all round scum Stoke chased Paul Nutall out, I hope Luke Shenton and Reform get the same treatment.

Something that has recently amazed me, is that whilst I've been aware about Baskeyfield for years now, only in the past week have I found out that 3 VC winners were actually born and bred in Stoke.

Hands down the greatest piece of art work I've ever seen along the Trent canal

To me, even after a year on from visiting Boston, I still cant get over the glee I felt seeing elements of Stoke on Trents history (pottery) in both the Harvard Museum of Natural History and the USS Constituon Museum.

Legitimately shocked. I may not have been able to get on with Shellac, but I remember hearing Steelworker from Lungs and it being absolutely transformative for me.
in memory of Steve Albini, whatβs your favorite album he produced? mine has to be Things We Lost in the Fire by Low, his production work on that album makes it so magical. RIP!!
