Thank you @AmerAcadPeds for continuing to share science-based recommendations about the childhood vaccines children need to keep them and their communities safe from diseases that can result in serious illness, disability, or even death.
Today's ACIP meeting is usually a time where experts come together to inform the future of vaccines. That is not what today will be. That is not what we can stand behind. The AAP will continue to recommend its own childhood vaccine schedule -- just as we have since the 1930s.

Thank you @Val_Lawson and all the members of the @RISenate who understand how vital paid family leave is for RI families and how much these improvements were needed so more families could afford to take leave to care for a family member.
Last night the @RISenate approved S-974 to improve paid family leave in RI by increasing the wage replacement rate, expanding the contribution base, and expanding the definition of family. Thank you Senate President @Val_Lawson for championing this important legislation!
