Proud to share the teacher’s perspective on @RIDeptEd Chronic Absenteeism Working Group. Great discussion last night with Gov. McKee & Commissioner Infante-Green on barriers to attendance and fresh ideas, like pediatricians asking about missed school. Grateful to be part of this!

This dedicated and thorough team of educational experts spent 3 days comprehensively reviewing TFA’s educator preparation program through @RIDeptEd’s Prep-RI visit! There was lively discussion grounded in 1000s of artifacts and at least 50 pieces of Double Bubble eaten in 72 hrs.
