Yesterday was a reminder of why the @RaisingRI coalition fights. Families in RI Works deserve better. Raising the monthly cash benefit—at zero cost to the state—will help children and parents meet their basic needs. Lawmakers must act now to make this happen.
We're working to give families tools to work their way out of poverty (and stay out!). Join us! You can sign on as an organization or as an individual. Let's make sure that we make sure that babies born in serious poverty are given the chance to thrive!
