Republicans made a huge mistake projecting these as violent and fringe. It drove more people to come out and everyone to focus on the optics more. Very idiotic by people like Speaker Johnson.
Most remarkable thing about the No Kings protest today is despite the right wing media manipulating algorithms, suppressing opposition voices and amplifying talking points, 2M more people showed up than in June. A great nation has awakened.

Big news here: the White House has backed down from shutting down I-5 this weekend following our reporting last night.
