'Challengers' is the hottest sports movie I've ever seen! Luca's finesse weaves suspense, sensuality, and audacity into a delicious concoction. With Zendaya, Mike Faist, and Josh O'Connor igniting the screen, it's a scorching love triangle!🔥🎾
My review:
Josh O’Connor blowing up because of ‘Challengers’ means more people will watch his incredible range in ‘La Chimera,’ thereby exposing more people to Alice Rohrwacher, whom I believe is one of the best female directors working right now. Don’t skip this one. My review:
'CHALLENGERS' A heart-pounding thrill ride with the hottest love triangle on screen. Zendaya, Mike Faist, and Josh O'Connor deliver career-defining performances oozing with intensity. Paired with a seductive score, brilliant editing, and pacing, it's everything you could desire.
Yep, I've said it before and I'll say it again: 'Challengers' is my film of the year. The performances are fantastic, the storytelling is engaging and magnetic. It's the horniest, sexiest match point you'll witness. The way Luca Guadagnino makes sweat so hot should be illegal. 🎾
I just really hope 'Challengers' finds an audience at the box office because it deserves each and every one of you to go see its deliciousness. And I will not stop talking about it. I apologize in advance.
I've thought about it for a while, and if it were up to me, these would be my noms for 'Challengers' for the Oscars 2025. idk
• Picture
• Director
• Screenplay
• Actress
• Actor (for both O'Connor and Faist)
• Sound

lol, what!? i think tweeting during a film should get you removed from the press list, in all honesty... just saying. for one, you shouldnt even have your phone out to begin with, two; it's utterly disrespectful
not me letting out a slight scream when the credits rolled for my Challengers screening, and the critic next to me looked at me like I was crazy. I may be a critic, but I'm truly a fan/cinephile at heart. And if I want to get excited, I will. Leave me be. 😂😭
Films starring Zendaya have grossed $2.6B at the box office worldwide
You can catch her next in Luca Guadagnino’s

Spirited Away: Live on Stage is the best time I've had at the movies all year so far. I don’t think I’ll ever stop talking about this stage performance. Just wow.

elegantly guides a woman’s self-discovery through 150 minutes, entwining humor, desire, and emotion. Emma Stone’s brilliant performance elevates it into a cinematic triumph of life-affirming exploration—a bold dance of sensuality and spiritual awakening. A marvel.
Well, I didn't have this on my bingo card for 2023, but here it is. I can't believe my quote is on the back of the Blu-ray release of

'The Idea of You' emerges as an enchanting experience—a gem intertwining charm, humor, and sensuality, elevating unconventional romance. Anne Hathaway shines, Nicholas Galitzine delivers a compelling, emotionally charged portrayal. My only wish is this got a theatrical run.

critic here saw the film three weeks in advance, wasn't paid a dime lol. And I wouldn't say this one bit and it's my favorite film of the year, so. idk

Sometimes I feel people forget what it was like being her age, going to a movie, and seeing your favorite hero on the silver screen. This is what it’s all about. Even if you don’t enjoy said film yourself, someone did. Doesn’t mean people should ruin it for others. Adorable.
What does playing tennis have to do with this? You do realize this is a movie, right? If you wanted to watch an actual tennis match, maybe you should have just put on the Madrid Open instead? idk
I’ve been playing tennis for 17 years. It’s a fast-paced game. To see slow-motion used so prominently in

was frustrating, along with the techno music, flimsy dialogue and outrageous New Rochelle windstorm. Terrible soap opera. Ridiculous sports movie. Double fault.
Letitia Wright excels in 'Aisha,' embodying a resilient Nigerian refugee amid asylum struggles. Josh O'Connor's brilliance complements her. Director Frank Berry's nuanced approach authentically depicts human struggle, crafting a poignant narrative of friendship and endurance.

Just a heads-up, Asif Kapadia already made a film about Amy Winehouse nine years ago, and if you somehow haven't seen it, it's fucking phenomenal. Go watch it.

is a whirlwind of terror! It's a wild ride, hurling your psyche into madness. With wicked nods to religion, it weaves its own twisted narrative, ending in a f*cking gasp. Sydney Sweeney shines as the ultimate scream queen in this.
I’m very in awe of Goran Stolevski’s “Housekeeping for Beginners.” It showcases his talent for creating memorable characters and weaving funny, poignant, and deeply human stories with a wealth of heart. It’s worth every moment of your time.

. Writers are the most important part of any creative project. Remember what happened in ‘07-‘08? TV had its worst seasons; many films were canceled or completely wrecked. Meanwhile, studio exec’s are living in mansions. Pay the freaking writers!
this is such a shit take lol. horror has always been in high demand. people continue to show up to a genre that’s been around since the beginning of cinema; it’s not oversaturated if that’s what the market wants 🤷🏼♀️
