The Lighthouse - Two men on a rock in the ocean slowly go mad. Absolutely phenomenal, visceral, intense, hilarious filmmaking. Every shot is masterful. Score is astounding. Willem Dafoe & Robert Pattinson are incredible, plumbing the depths of insanity. Perfection.

This whole scene just fucking RULES! And I love that it's the midway point. It's the closing number of Act 1 before intermission, and then you're sitting there wondering HOW ARE THEY GOING TO TOP THAT?! Oh, you just wait. RRR is such an awesome experience.
In any other movie, this would’ve been the Act 3. But RRR decided to kick ass for another 90 minutes.

After Yang is the best artificial intelligence sci-fi film since Ex Machine. Absolutely gorgeous, meticulously crafted subtle sci-fi brilliance. Kogonada's take on Ghost in the Shell (I think) set in a future where families get androids to be siblings for their kids.
