Weapons is a mess. A film that starts off fairly interesting but about half way through goes off the rails and becomes absolutely absurd. I wish that I saw the movie that every one else saw but alas this was yet another disappointment. Also, the film feels like it’s 3hrs long.

While I agree that Fantastic Four was released too close to Superman, I will say that if the average moviegoer actually cared about the film it would have done better. In the past, the summer movie season had a blockbuster almost every single weekend and there was plenty of.
