Thrilled and honored to be awarded an #ERCStG grant by @ERC_Research! Very thankful to my peers and collaborators. #INPERSPACE will develop ultra-efficient #perovskite tandem solar cells for the new space era! Thus, I will be back in Europe. Stay tuned for open positions in 2023.

Perovskite/Si tandem solar cells hold immense promise. As a community, we address scaling and stability challenges, but efficiency remains a key focus. From our perspective, 37.8% efficiency seems like an achievable goal.

Today, we hosted Dr. Kassio Zanoni from @UV_EG, who delivered an insightful lecture in our Colloquium on advanced vacuum deposition techniques for #PerovskiteSolarCells. The key takeaway: vacuum deposition techniques are a promising route for advancing perovskite technologies.

Had the pleasure of previewing work on reverse bias degradation in #perovskite solar cells for @NatureEnergyJnl. Two independent US-based collaborative teams developed a mitigation strategy for the cathode & anode sides! Worth the check it #perovskite PVs!

Had a great visit to IPV! Discussed tandem photovoltaics and connected with fellow PV enthusiasts. IPV, a historically significant hub for PV research in Germany (c-Si, CIGS, a-Si), is evolving to a new shape under Michael Saliba's leadership.

Excited to share our latest work on triple-junction perovskite/perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells! In this work, we devised a strategy to solve phase instabilities in the perovskite absorber of the top cell with our PhD student Fuzong Xu, achieving a 26% PCE for a 1 cm2 area.
